i think i encountered a bug but i want to confirm it by asking about your experience.

so after unlocking an elite spec u get an item like the daredevil scarf with the elite spec specific rune in it. after getting all 9 specs i wanted to black lion kit these out of the armors. to my surprise this only worked on 2 of the 9 armors, all the others could not be salvaged at all. i saw multiple people who could salvage their berserker elite spec headpiece for the rune of berserker, i couldnt.

do you have any more information about this so i can make a post in the bug forum that gets ignored for the next few months? does it have something to do with the runes losing their account bound status and getting tradable?

Elite spec gear wasn’t supposed to be salvagable. It was a bug on few items.
