What is that epic song that plays during the mission to determine the fate of the pact fleet, the one when we have to rescue some member in the cave. i can’t stop listening to it. it’s so beautifully done. well done sir, well done. is it new??

I have to agree. During my 3 year tenure in the world of GW2 I can honestly say the only music I actually remember is the when they promo’d SAB in the rad 8 bit style. To this day the only thing that has stuck in my head is the very opening of character select scene. Overall, the music in GW2 has been incredibly bland and unmemorable.

Today when I opened up my character screen, I sat at it for a good hour just listening over and over again to the new theme. The music introduced in HoT is leagues above the original score. Hopefully this isn’t just a fluke or a one time thing, because a game of epic proportions like GW2 needs a musical score to match.
