i have a multi server farming guild, we would like to expand our hall. we have to do pvp, wvw, and nothing for pve will help get favor for guild halls. that really sucks. i think the guild hall balance should be set for all types of guilds that way everyone can enjoy them and not just the massive guilds. its really not fair. they took all good farm builds away, make upgrading halls impossible, and force us to use certain builds and took away the play your way theory behind the game which is the reason i paid for both gw and hot. but i guess your casual players in this game deserve nothing. we cant even purchase favor from anywhere anymore which sucks for guilds whom dont have alot of wvw, or pvp players in them.

The irony is you call yourself a farming guild and you actually care what you are doing.

You can farm in pvp and wvw too.

You don’t have to you change your guild’s mission preferences because you only want to run a specific type of content for guild missions. Since you want to run pve missions for favor, why would’nt you want to click the button that says “please only give us pve missions from now on”?

It takes two mouse clicks and costs literally nothing.

So you are saying it should automatically be set to PvE? Then WvW/PvP would say the EXACT same thing you are saying.

That and unlock your mission slots. That will help too.

Your guild leader can choose your guild mission type (change it once /week)

Default it is set on random (you get a mix of all types, PvP, WvW, PvE). This is totally random each week, 1 week you have 3 PvE missions and 1 WvW mission, an other week only PvP and 1 WvW, and so on.

If you do not like that and like to get only 1 type, your guild leader can set the missions to that type so you only get those (he can choose from PvP, WvW or PvE only). Since you seem to like PvE best, i suggest that your guild sets it to PvE only.

Next to that you can unlock 3 additional slots that always have a mission of the corresponding type (1 PvP, 1 WvW, 1 PvE) these slots are not affected by the mission type setting.

So this system (which is currently in the game) actually gives the option for a guild to choose which type of guild missions they want to have. WvW guilds can pick to only get WvW missions, PvE guilds pick to get only PvE missions and PvP guilds can pick to get only PvP missions. And if you like them all you just leave it at random and see what you get each week.

In case you do not know where this setting is located, its in the guild menu, (top left next to your favor gained/week).
