I played a lot of the beta this weekend, a bad amount, and almost exclusively in pvp. I’m going through everything in categories.

Tempest: didn’t play. I don’t play ele, but from what I’ve heard and seen its pretty sweet and will definetly be seen in competitive play. I can’t give very in depth feed back though.

Dragonhunter:
Core change: this is my biggest problem. Each has a cast time and I like it but it really doesn’t work well in tandem with previous virtue traits which are entirely meta. For instance if you’re being feared you use resolve to break out but now you gotta use a utility skill. This also seeps into stun break for courage.
Long bow: I love this. I love snaring from a 1200 range and the skill are great. It has good DPS too and great support and great originality. I’d use this on all my builds if not for the mentioned core change.
Traps: a little underwhelming. I like them a lot but the damage and cooldowns and cast time are all too weak. The damage might be a bug cause it said 1900 but I couldn’t crack 2k on a zerker build. I also couldn’t figure out a build to use them
Traits: they weren’t too notable. I like em and have no issue with them. Can keep as is. Oh wait. There is one bad trait. Traps give one stack of bleeding. No real reason I’d take it. I’d also not take anything besides soaring devastation.

Reaper:
Core change: I love this form. It hits hard moves like a monster. Only issue is the trait Path of Corruption activates on the last hit which is hard to land. I’d put it on the first hit.
Great sword: also fun. The 3 skill was… Pretty much just used to get life force. It applies vulnerability but I could land 25 stacks with no issue. The damage on it was low so I never used it. I’d like it to snare some how. Cripple probably.
Shouts: a little underwhelming. I liked them but the cast time shouldn’t have been a thing for You’re all Weaklings and the cast time for Chilled to the Bone meant landing it was impossible via either being blind or dodged.
Traits: these are my favourite ones. All traits are viable. Well except grant might and life force when you strike a foe is better than all of the ones in that section. The chill damage also felt low and that increasing attack speed in shroud in tandem with dhuumfire was stronger.

Chronomancer:
Core change: Contiuum split it’s amazing. Its hard to use well but when you do it right you can turn the tide of a battle, but I didn’t use it a lot for a reason I’ll say later. Aclarity is… Strong. I had permanent aclarity in combat meaning nothing was ever on cooldown.
Shield: YES. Finally I don’t have to bring torch. Its got nice defence and its fun to use. The phantasm was quite strong though.
Wells: theyre alright. Really good in pve but not overly viable in PvP because its really really hard to land that last hit.
Traits: this is why I never used contiuum split often. The trait that respawns clones after shatters in tandem with gaining aclarity meant never not having a full mind shatter ready. I also don’t think the daze on chronophantasma works. They activated instantly. Maybe give a cooldown on the clone respawn and lower aclarity duration on the shatter.

I made a separate revenant review here:
