i started a topic in the necro forum about that. And for those that never visit it heres my concern

“ok specialization great, gs great, but will it be a power necro weapon ? if becoming a specialized necro to unlock gs, does that mean that the new elite skill will be for power builds too ?
as a condi necro will i just be stacked with scepter ?
right now the utilities i got are the best imo for condi necro. i cant imagine new better utilities for a condi build without making totally useless the ones we have, BiP, SoS and my personal favorite skill in the game Epidemic (pve necro here)

im really worried that condi necros wont get nothing new, condition been just bad, no usefull elite skills.

the main site of gw2 was updated and it says:
Evolve your gameplay. With profession specializations, you’ll unlock access to A weapon previously unavailable to your profession as well as new traits, skills and unique mechanics – all of which will trnasform your profession into somehting new.

so if a specialization implies to unlock a weapon then it means that there is just 1 per profession.

so what do you guys think ? im worried.

There was no mention of just one specialization per profession. My guess is that there will be 3 per profession, each with a different play style. Each specialization will give you access to one additional weapon set.

if it was just one, it wouldnt be specialising, it would just be a few more skills + a new weapon

it seems unlikely but it would be AMAZING if there was a specialisation for each trait line :P

It’s very likely that there would be more than one specialisation per class. I mean lets be honest here, if there was only one, you wouldn’t exactly be specialising and therefore it wouldn’t be called a specialisation.

Two or three seems like a sensible guess, I don’t see them doing too many, as they’d run the risk of allowing too many weapons on the class’s. (Although I’m not assuming that a specialisation will always include a new weapon)
