some basic q

1. do i need to be 500 huntsman to go legendary pistols ? ( i do letherworking to 450) do i need to stop armor crafting and do wopen crafting ?

2. i must heve acsended pistole to go to legandary ?

2. You do not need an ascended pistol for legendary. You need the “Chaos Gun”, which is the precursor for the legendary pistol. (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chaos_Gun)

i see that the gift of wood are from 2012 youtube guides when crafting was to 400 max.
and the Chaos Gun are from mistic forge.

but now i understand that legendery wont be RNG….

We don’t know exactly what will be needed because they’ve just given an overview, not the precise details of every ingredient. We probably won’t know the moment HoT launches, either, because you will have to get a lot of mastery tiers done before you can craft the legendary and until someone’s unlocked all the required tiers there will be some unknowns.

Put it this way: With everything else you’ll have to do to make the H.O.P.E pistol, you’ll have plenty of time to raise your craft skill if needed.

I’m a little confused about the new Legendaries. I understand that they’re account bound, but can we make them more than once? I’ve seen people say we can and that we can’t. I know I’d like to have more than one, to give to different characters or for dual wielding.

u dont need to have asc pistols to get the new HoT pistol legendary. Getting the pistol will be activities tied to HoT, like gettting full map exploration in HoT zones. It’s precursor will also have tasks required, and i think it is safe to assume that at some point u may need 500 in the respective crafting prof which is needed when crafting for other legendaries/asc.

You can only make them once. The twice told legend can only occur with the first set of legendaries.
