where do I find the legendary weapon to equip since I already unlocked it with grandmaster craftsman hobbs

I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying. You think you get a legendary weapon just for talking to the guy? It’s a long long journey. What you’ve unlocked is the initial collection you have to assemble towards the precursor.

Go to your Achievements tab, click on Collections>Legendary Collections (I think — I’m not in game atm to look), and you’ll see what all you have to collect and do.

Also, I want to add that you most likely unlocked 1 of the 3 tiers for precursor crafting, in which case you have a very long journey.
