idk if its just bad luck i’ve tried finishing 2 machined weapon collections since last week, i’ve been 5/6 and only missing the RNG stuff from noxious pods on both weapons.

i finished 1 after opening about 40+ noxious pods in dragons stand a few days ago, and i have used about 30+ machetes so far on my 2nd weapon and still have not gotten it.

I remember just a few weeks since the expansion came out i made maybe 4 of this machined weapons, and it only took me about 1-5 pods each per weapon to finish the collection….so whats up with that.

making it wayyyyyyy harder to finish this machined weapons, as if it wasn’t hard enough.

RNG at its finest lol. At one point I managed to get 4 in a row yet my last part for the torch took over 2 full DS maps to get. Probably best to unlock all the machined collections first before farming DS if you haven’t already though.

I’ve never gotten any from a pod.

It’s always been through the big chest at the end of the meta.

edit: Just did meta, got it from end of meta chest, 1st time wow.

It’s a guaranteed drop from the big chest at the end of the DS meta (if the collection is already active when you fight Mordremouth, unlocking it at the vendor by the chest won’t count).

I got it on my first pod… I thought they were silly common, lesson learned I guess. About to go for my second specialization weapon the scrapper hammer, but I’ll just do the meta like everyone says, because then I can also get a heroes choice thingie too for more machetes!

This has been hit or miss for me. Some parts have come with less than 10 pods, others seemed impossible without the automatic part at the end of the event.

You are guaranteed a machined component from the final chest at the end of the DS meta (the one that looks like the Mouth of Mordremoth). If you have multiple collections going, only one component will drop per completion of the meta.

Otherwise, you have a small chance to get a machined component from hacking open Noxious Pods with machetes.

Pods have a small chance, metachest has a guaranteed drop. Just do meta, opening all pods along the way, that way you can make up t 3, but at least 1 weapon per run

There is a lot of false information here.

I never got one of these parts by completing the meta although the collection was active. So there is NO guaranteed drop!

I got multiple part from pods in one go, so there is no limit.

It is just RNG. Nothing more, nothing less.
