I started a Rev and all was well until I got the toon to lvl 80 and a Herald, now it seems no matter what HP or mission run I do I don’t get any mastery points any more, I have a total of 95 points, what am I doing wrong?

Look in your Hero Panel. It will tell you what content gives mastery points (either red or green stars for Tyrian or Maguuma mastery lines).

I am showing 0 points for Heart of Maguuma, and that is what I dont understand, I have been doing map completion for HP, mission runs, boss’s and I get no mastery points.
I have other characters all leveled to Chronomancer and Druid with no problem with getting mastery points. And I did go and try with one of my other toons and still no mastery points.

You’re not getting more because you’ve gotten the easy to get ones. You need to look for ones that you can get from doing other content.

On the left hand side open up the different sections for the different achievements. (Circle with arenet logo). Second from the bottom, above Masteries.
look at the ones that have a green or red star beside the name. (story, adventures, lock boxes, collections, etc)
Anything undone there with a green star will give you a Maguuma mastery point. Anything undone there with a red star will give you a Tyrian mastery point.

Find and do those starred content and you’ll get mastery points.

It sounds to me like OP is confusing Mastery and Hero Points. You don’t get Mastery points by doing HP’s, missions or whatever. You get them in the HoT maps by looking for the icons and obtaining them (just like going to a HP, vista, PoI or any other landmark on the map), or from doing achievements. Nothing else will give you Mastery Points in this game. And Hero Points are useless once you’ve fully unlocked your elite specialization, until ANet introduces new specializations.

Also, mastery points and masteries are account bound.

Hero points can be done on multiple characters. Matstery points can not. So if you do something that gives you a hero point on a character, and then you do it on another character, you get another hero point.

Mastery points don’t work this way. You need to research and find out exactly what you need to do to get more mastery points. For example completing each chapter of the story in HOT gives you a mastery point. Completely all the achievements for each chapter gives you a second mastery point per chapter.

Every single adventure gives you a mastery point for attaining silver and another for attaining gold. You don’t need all of them to max out but some are rather easy to get silver, and couple are relatively easy to get gold.

Also, there are some changes coming to HoT that might affect adventures soon, sometime this month.
