I know this is a very noob question. And also want to ask that I’d you can’t answer this question in a nice way please don’t answer it !

I made a new account with gw2 now with expansion and everything but the question that bothers me is : if you start new classes from level 1 are you able to use the new weapon skill f.e greatsword for necromancer ? Or does this only apply after lvl 80 ?

You must have unlocked all other trait lines fully to access the elite spec.
I believe this is only possible at lvl 80.

You should be able to start a revenant if you have the expansion downloaded.
