Unlikely (but maybe). This weekend is Pax where they’ll be announcing difficult content. They might still reveal a specialisation but historically ANet has been all 1 week one piece of info.

They also went a while without any reveals. The sooner they reveal, the sooner we can all avert major disappointments like Tempest.

Does ANYONE think a plea like this has any impact on their decision making or scheduling process?

These things are picked out days if not weeks in advance. And frankly they aren’t primarily concerned with advertising to us here on the forums. They’re picking their battles in the videogames news cycle to bring in new players.

They will do it when they are ready to do it.

Its highly and very plausible they can do this PAX is in Seattle so its not a long trek from Anet to the convention hall so yes they could do a reveal and challenging content in the same week will they we will need to wait and find out.

I agree with OP. Where is the Druid class we were promised at the beginning of this year? This class should of been part of the last beta weekend, but it wasn’t included. People have a right to be impatient at this point.

They have been taking too long rolling out the info on the new class specializations, and Anet has plans to release HoT this year. Worse, we know more about WoW’s new upcoming expansion, Legion, than we do about HoT. That’s the truth.

Wow this my first time hearing about that expansion. I am happy and excited now. May return to WoW now. Cant wait for HoT as well. But wow the info on their new expansion seem wonderful!

First I heard of it too… less than a year since their last expansion and this new one has a new class, new races, new dungeons, new raids, a whole new continent, new legendary weapons, revamped PvP, new guild stuff… it kinds makes HoT seem rather sad actually…

Well hopefully the new reveals this week will kick it up a notch!

I agree. I hope this makes Anet step it up. Because i spend more in GW2 per year than i did in WoW. They should have the resources.

But wow Demon Hunters with shapeshifting,,, oh my. And that legendary weapon upgrade concept seem amazing. Also the Class Halls is something we should have been had in GW2 due to the way Living Story works, there was always potential for that. But man WoW going to have these hot spots in the world for classes. That is so cool. I want that here in GW2.

Well ya had a 2 out of 3 chance to get what you wanted, but alas they went with thief which i’m personally very excited for.

kitten wow just bodied HOT in terms of revealing what you are paying for.
Also seems to be more content based on the info we have so far.

the amount of times they have left ranger till last and still did not know what to do because of " knee jerk reactions" they can take thier time to get it near perfect the first time.

the last lot of new traits on Ranger are Bugged to high heaven and rather not have more by them rushing druid trait lines, though for Kitten sure we do not need anymore Regen , we need Traits for the staff to improve into a Area CC or traits that help condi removals/stability removal while using staff and for Defo A Team Resistance Skill would be perfect for a master adept or as a minor (gain resistance on weapon swap) and then a trait which grants it to allies near the pet that combined with Eb makes a tanky Damage pet and a tanky condi obsorbing ranger.

i really hope the widen the rangers group support through weapons rather than latching on more Regen.

Druids are the masters of nature and life as to which we should give life or Cure conditions while using nature to harm our foes < if it is not this i’ll be very disappointed.
