So i got the core game a month ago with in the time frame to get a refund when i pre purchase HoT, do i have to order it before july 31st to get it? Or can i wait 1 week after?

As it is stated in the Community Address blogpost, you have to prepurchase by July 31st the latest. – Through buy.guildwars2.com or in-game. The refund for core game will be automatically sent back on your account when ArenaNet sets up the process, so you should not contact support about it.

Remember you only get the refund if you purchased GW2 from Anet, if you brought it from Amazon or any other retailer you won’t get a refund.
