question about hang gliders
Only in the new maps we get with HoT. My first gut reflex is no in the new Borderland, but y’know, they could have designed that one with gliders in mind.
Gliders will not be available in the old maps, be they PvE or WvW.

Considering how much vertical space is in the new borderland, it seems like it is designed with gliding in mind. Just a guess.
they said they would redesign old maps in one way or another, i think the ones who would own HoT would be able to reach things you can only get to with gliders, including on old maps.

umm, no they didn’t? they said the would have to (not that they will) redo the old maps in order to fit gliders in them without making them exploitable.
