Guild Wars 2

So i purchased it and linked it to my account. see now the game client is gw2 hot and was wondering if i download it or not or does the game auto update whenever the betas start?

I have not been in this beta but I heard that there is no update before playing.

In vanilla beta, we had frequent updates in the betas and a huge update before Head Start. They are probably updating HoT in their normal updates and they will provide you with a beta character slot. I would think you won’t have to update before each beta… just log in.
