can someone please tell me how to escape this attack? im tired of replaying this just to die at this moment. also, how do you get the npc to not progress the fight in midair thereby ruining your attempt?

Simple, go into the updrafts on the ground. The NPC will be fine.

Dodge it by changing your flight pattern and direction. If you just fly normally, you’ll get hit every time.

That’s why there is an achievement for doing it (also there’s a mastery for that I believe).
Some of the biconics will create shield bubbles, you can just hide in them.
