show some love for medium armor classes
Bro don’t worry, A-net knows its thing, everybody knows that medium armor classes are the best there is, so A-net is doing the “save the best for last” promo. Besides when they first announced elite spec which ones did they confirmed? RANGER in all its glory (aka we know the name and weapon and at least one attack) and ENGIE (know weapon and some form of class mechanic with the flying drones) what do they both have in common? MEDIUM ARMOR BAM shots fired! we win! ranger thief and engie 4 life!
I predict warriors are going to be next, then another month later we’ll get the rev’s elite spec, then maybe month before release we will start getting the medium step children…I mean profession’s specs
judging by the recently datamined resources;
Engineer’s specialization might be called the Forge,
Thieves have something to do with either kits or staffs,
That said, thief getting a Rifle sounds more plausible than a staff, because that would give all but like two classes the ability to wield a staff and thieves with rifles could become sniper-y assassins( Do not let me down on this ANet),
and of course rangers become the Druid.

If you’re judging it off data mining, then surely you mean kits and staves, not ‘or’? Since a staff Specialisation background image was clearly data mined as a staff, and the knife shoulder-looking thing is being generally thought of as a kit?

calling something ‘the forge’ makes little grammatical sense, so it’s probably closer to Forgeman.
As true as Odin’s spear flies,
There is nowhere to hide.
Forgemaster.
Add seriously, why all the pining for this or that weapon now, now now? Getting the weapon you think is the most obvious match on the first round isn’t actually a good thing. Better to get your favorite combination after they’ve gotten a little more experience under their belts.
A melee-staff acrobat thief would be amazing. And so would a rifle sniper thief. Or a burn-your-village, take-your-stuff torch-wielding brigand thief. There’s fun and evocative themes for almost any profession/weapon combo with just the teeniest bit of imagination.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Maybe Anet is able to turn thief into a staff sniper assasin…. with staff that can shoot magical bullets….
