something t may disapoint bout Special
Well, I have an engineer that uses turrets and dual pistols. I’ll be sad if I have to give up the dual pistols to get the flying turrets. I have another engineer that I could see using the hammer, but I worry that she’ll lose something else to get it.
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
wonderful, GW2 is even worse than any other MMORPG when it comes down to forum attitude. Now you even have to imagine how you will be disappointed by something new and still unknown to you? Oh man, I really pity the devs around here.

I’m not sure if i will be disappointed at all – after all i keep my expectations low and conservative, to only things that were already announced. Probably the only thing that might disappoint me is if specializations would turn out to be better than their base classes. But that’s not a factor of fully understanding how the system works, but of skill balance, so it might not qualify for you question.
TL/DR: The only people that might end up disappointed are those that are now making wild guesses about specializations, and then treat those guesses as confirmed info. Like those that are now still 100% sure that there will be new weapons (or at least landspears) for specializations..

This is what happens when the flow of information between devs and consumers is limited. Those with free time on their hands start to theorize in what spectacular way things will go bad. It’s human nature.
Once more details are out, we’ll start theorizing in a more directed manner the ways in which the system could or will fail.
All this is showing is that the devs opened their mouths too early about the expansion. It will continue to go like this till something solid lands… There is a downside to the hype train. This is it.
I said my piece on how sub-classes by any name could go horribly wrong in the Horizontal Progression CDI.
After hashing out a few ways to navigate the minefield in that thread, lets hope they took those concerns to heart.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

I fear the old professions may become obsolete. I have doubles of most classes, would love to set one to specialization and keep old profession on the other.
Like those that are now still 100% sure that there will be new weapons (or at least landspears) for specializations..
That not evne a wild geuss, that is stupidity, the devs said explicitly there will be no new weapons, only existing weapons will be aded to classes that dont ahve access to them via the specialisations (landspears would be a possibility i geuss as they are not technically a new weapon, and it wouldn’t be much different from giving a new class and old weapon as skills will change anyway, but still unlikely i say)
What I fear might happen is that one specialization ends up beeing way more powerfull then the mainprofession and people get discriminated in dungeons for picking the standard, because they prefer it over the specialization, just like necros or non zerker currently get.

i hope that the specs wont be an absalut must
If I can’t use Flamethrower and Rifle along those new drones, I’ll be disappointed.
If the Revenant new class doesn’t get a decent story, with good lore and a believable explanation, I’ll be disappointed.
If each Revenant legend offer only 3 fixed utility skills, I’ll be disappointed.
If the new Legendary Weapons are as lame as the actual ones, I’ll be disappointed.
If the NPE doesn’t get a complete revision and a huge improvement, I’ll be disappointed.
If asura and charr armor clippings don’t get fixed once and for all, I’ll be disappointed.
If aetherized weapons/skins doesn’t return to the Black Lion trader, I’ll be disappointed.
If medium armor doesn’t get more variety but only more and more longcoats, I’ll be disappointed.
If they again left the Charm/Dignity/Ferocity personality factors unused, I’ll be disappointed.
Back into specialities: if they become a must, or if they are nothing but a waste… I’ll be disappointed.
So, yes. I know I’M GOING TO BE DISAPPOINTED.
If I’m wrong, then I’ll be extra happy. If I’m right, I will enjoy everything else anyway, so it’s not a real problem to me.
that it makes every other class in the game boring to play.”

That is a really weird question to ask i guess most ppl would be disappointed if its buggy? That really over all the wrong way to come at things and it feels like your looking for something to hate. Images if you where on a job interview and your asked “what would disappoint you about the job your apply for” how would you answer it in such a way to still get the job?
