stop crying about spoilers!
Some people have been inconsiderate enough to put the spoiler in the thread title. So those complaints are valid.
Except the forum is also the only place to find info about bugs and voice feedback about the game and those ppl shouldn’t have to read a spoiler for the sake of some personal responsibility on the part of an individual poster. It’s very easy for someone not to spoil something in a title. If someone then clicks on a spoiler thread and reads, sure it is their fault, but spoiling via a thread title is a no no and has been reinforced by the devs time and time again.
The reason in part you are not seeing them is that the mods/devs have stepped up their game to delete those offending threads or change their titles quickly.
Some people don’t want the story line ruined for them, they just need help with a certain part. You can help people without spoiling the plot. Now, if they click on a thread that says “Spoilers” then that is their own fault and they have no right to complain, however, it’s when people don’t put spoilers in a thread title and they start blabbing on about what happens, that people can complain. Believe it or not, but there is actually common courtesy on the internet.
I must add i really dont care much about spoilers to begin with. I see it as using google maps to get somewhere. Knowing how to get there, and what i’m going to be doing on the way, (to me at least) doesn’t change how much fun I have, or my opinion of the journey…..mmm and everyone knows journey is a great band! (caffeine and add dont mix well)
And some people’s fun includes learning the twists in the story. Especially the major twists.
Ah, I see after flaming my comment on the other thread (which had had it’s name changed after I commented)

you felt the need to whine about it further.
Some people like to keep up with whats going on in the community/bug fixes/etc and would like to do so without having the end of the story thrown at them from every other thread title.
And that is not an unreasonable request.
People are perfectly free to discuss/report issues with things like end boss encounters without spoiling all the gory details of the story.
All we ask is you use a generic thread title labeled as a spoiler.
I believe the title of the original thread was
SPOILER...Can't complete Mordy Fight. Bugged!
This is a spoiler. and people posting such spoilers this close to launch should be given a posting ban of a week. Repeat offenders should have in game bans of similar time frames (imo)
Hilariously enough you’re example of Snape kills Dumbledore being a spoiler worth complaining about, when that is a perfect example of expiry of statute of limitations on plot twists (as I like to call it).
That particular plot twist is old enough if you haven’t gotten around to reading it you can’t complain if someone mentions it.
Darth Vader’s true identity, and the ending of The Sixth Sense fall into the same category.
A few days after release is unreasonably early to be spoiling things.
There is absolutely no evidence to support that it would.” -AnthonyOrdon
Yeah game was released days ago, start complaining about people complaining about spoilers in a month or so.
Does Anet really ban people for spoiling the story in like map chat? I see people either QQ about those who spoiled something or start openly blast spoilers with vulgar words and report for spam chat left, right and center… How is it a chat spam?
Always follow what is true.” — Sentry-skritt Bordekka
Thank you for reposting that <3
Your complaining about the complaining doesn’t help.
