No, not in the gem store (although I guess I’d settle for that, just to have them). What I’d love to see is for them to be unlocks that you get, the first time you gain a specialization. Progression-related cosmetics that don’t require transmutation charges are a lot of fun, and I’d love to see more of them than just the Zenith weapons, tied to more systems than just achievements.
This is not some kind of anti-gem store thing. I’m fine with the gem store, and I buy all of the outfits that I like, which so far, has been most of them. I’d just like to see some that are tied to in-game activities and accomplishments as well. They’re the perfect collectible.
I really hope they add more cultural outfits for each race.
Can barely stand looking at my Sylvari in other equipement than cultural armor
perhaps the option to make equipment we find switch to sylvari style automatically on equip.
then for each 20 lvls they could add “standard cultural armor”
rather than medium, heavy, light these armors would reflect a certain personality.(when the sylvari woke ;night, dawn, dusk,…could be reflected)

I have been hoping to see a profession-specific armor set. It would be great if they introduced profession AND specialization specific armor in a way similar to GW1.
I never thought about it before, but a ranger spec’d as a druid is going to have limited options in what they look like. Medium armor doesn’t exactly have the greatest variety, and there’ no option to wear light armor for a more traditional druid look.
Maybe each Specialization could gather pieces/ trophies from monsters.
From the ones that complement their profession, they could substract unique customization pieces for their wardrobe.
Like the warrior could get a wyvern skull to alter his shoulder piece with
The elementalist could imbue the essence of a whisp in the headband,…,…
The druid can pay respect to the corpses of spiritual beasts that enables them to bless their armor with the powers of those beasts,..
perhaps they could even learn to summon new types of forest spirits and beasts that way

this could be cool, but i’m mostly hoping for more light/medium armor that actually looks like…armor.

Yes, give us more Profession based armor. I certainly don’t want every armor in the game to be profession based, I didn’t like that aspect in Guild Wars 1 either (I always wanted the Elite Kurzick Mesmer armor for my Elementalist >.<) but have at least a one armor for each profession and each specialisation be unique. At the moment, I can’t really think of a good armor for a druid – I think of a more cloth style armor with some pieces of wood and bark. Mixing leather and cloth. Not in terms of weight, just style.
And more cultural armor, maybe even special cultural armor from Hylek, the Itzli (or whatever their names were, I cannot remember right now) that can be obtained by mastering their languages, stuff like that.

I’m almost positive we’ll get some armor that looks as if it’s made for certain specializations. I seriously doubt they’d introduce something like a druid, and then not bother to create and medium armor that lets you dress like one.
What I’d specifically like to see, though, are specialization-themed outfits. One-piece cosmetic clothes meant to be used with the outfit system, that are granted to you when you unlock a specialization for the first time. They’d make great unlocks to aim for, and would allow us to instantly give ourselves the signature look of a particular specialization, even before we’ve been able to acquire any appropriate looking armor, without having to worry about using transmutation charges..
