i heard that in the new map(s) in hot modremoth will rise up during the night and fight us with his minions .

Is this related in any way with sylvari characters glowing during the night?

Probably no.

Many games use that mechanic of “Night time is the bad time” , while a plant-like being glow in the night time also seems plausible.

Or I may be wrong, who knows?
