I know gw2 is different, but i dont think a new map will give too much life at the game, expecially if is a big silverwaste farming map, like it seems to be…
farmers already have alot of content to farm their skin and legendary, but what about ppl love the more traditional istanced end game content? Challenging stuff will allow you to play with friends and guild mates w/o play with a big random zerg as other world bosses..

I ve played on another mmo and in this one we had too much content as dungeon and raids with new tier etc etc every 4-5 months… i d like to have itmin gw2 same content every one year, i will pay for it, like players do it in the other game i ve played… i dont understood if anet doesent have enough enployee or if b2p system doesent give him the money they need for do new challenging content… 3 years and we had nothing…

Atm i m lf another game, i m bored about “farmingwaste” style, i know this game is make for be played when you want, but this shoudnt be an excuse for do nothing about that

I really love this game and i d like to see a more deeper and challenging istanced content, i m shure thisnis what this game really need

Anet hates dungeons. For me it seems they are ashamed of them.

Gw2 is aimed for casuals playing without purpose. Even at HoT release conference at pax south they said that “journey is the reward” which means they look at their game as an adventure so yo ushould feel rewarded since lvl 1. I dont agree with this attitude because of this we have not much end game content and whats more it doesnt seem to improve.

First of all, it’s not a new map,. it’s a new zone with more than one map. Might be several maps, we don’t know.

And much of what’s coming in the expansion hasn’t even been discussed yet. So until that happens, this sort of post is at least premature.

At least wait until they delve into what the challenging content is before judging it. And getting facts right doesn’t hurt either.

It seems really weird if a really big feature like that wasnt annunced yet… i thing the big stuff is already annunced, new zone, new classes, guild hall, new pvp mode, masteries, specialization… i dont think they have something like new dungeon/raid system… maybe a new dungeon but i dont think will be too much different from what we already have, maybe harder, but is nothing if a new kind of reward/progress system isnt added…

The only thing we know for sure is that they’re doing something with fractals (fractal mastery). As for everything else, we can only speculate. They did say something about an epic challenging fight which possibly hints at some sort of raid but could very well be jungle teq 3.0.

Yes, Colin has stated that all the major features have been announced – ie things they would put on the back of the box. However, other things have been mentioned (ie challenging group content) that they have yet to expound upon. We don’t know what that challenging group content is as yet. Colin has stated that they have looked at raids, other instanced content, etc to [evaluate] (because the synonym is blocked lmao) what their options are, but we don’t know what they’ve opted to go with. Obviously we’ll still have some large scale open world fights, that’s been alluded to. However, nothing has been said definitively beyond that.

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.

But what exactly is end game? Players are quick to say thete isnt one and never suggest solutions nor examples of what could be end game content.

Its as if players are saying im hungy...for what? tasty food!...ok well what would taste good?

If you read the OP you’d know he’s talking about harder instanced content (dungeon/raid)

I would rather see a return of the Marionette to a new dungeon. Or a Tequatling of some of the other world bosses. Events that require groups to interact in a meaningful way that isn’t just a zerg, but that can also include zerging if that’s what you’re comfortable with.

I also think that’s what ANet wants, and the direction they’re going with.

Yup it seem we won’t have any new dungeons or big change in term of dungeons. They seem to put emphasis on fractal and it could be awesome or not. We were able to see description of pretty much all masteries except for fractals. What will they add to fractal? If they just made 10 or 20 level similar to the one we already have with new instability and new rewards, that’s pretty lame.

But if they add 3-6 or more new fractals, 1-2 new end bosses and rework the reward system, they could give us sort of what we want in dungeon, in the form of fractals. Depending on what they will do it could be awesome or disappointing. We’ll see.
