i swear i must have put 20+ hours into trying to get that one piece of armor between farming 500 airship parts only to see it wasent being sold to finishing the personal story thinking ‘’SURELY that must be were i get it’’ and lastly desperatly trying to get the veredant brink day meta progress to T4 and then the night one to T3 and lastly kill all 5 bosses before the next day (^i was told this was the only way to get it and it does seem to be the only thing i havent dune yet, mostly becouse it seems compleatly impossible)

so how am i supposed to get that ONE piece of armor? it is seriously crippling all my ability to enjoy the game AT ALL k nowing theres that one armor set that would look JUST right on my character and then like an dushebag older sibling anet is holding it above me just out of my reach

I received a Bladed Chest piece after my map pushed Night to tier 4. Not sure if there’s another method.

Yes it is possible to kill all 5 bosses, not with organized map but organized + skillful ( ppl know what to do ) i got my chest piece yesterday by killed all bosses thank to good communicate map chat and leader, i know this seems hard to you but it suppose to be end game contents so cheer up and keep trying

Tried again today and this time we almost got to t4 but something happend to Faren to stop the event (some people said it was a bug some dident) and thus it got stuck at t3 for 20 minutes until night started. im serious this kitten feels kittening impossible. and its not helping that EVERYONE in the map chat and pretty much everyware else’s ONLY responce is ‘’durr its supposed to be hard get over it whiner’’

at this rate im seriusly going to have to quit gw2 just to keep my sanity, or maybe anet could oh i dunno ADD THE FREAKING CHEST TO THE VENDOR OH MY GOD PUT SOME ASCENDED STUFF IN THE T4 ANYTHING BUT THIS.

I find it hilarious you want to quit the game because you can’t get one item :P

On a more serious topic, it’s been a week, I’m sure that in time (when everyone learns what’s what) t4 of this map will be done easily.

Just look at Tarir now, almost every attempt I’ve tried recently was a success. Cause people learned and found the most optimal way of doing it. So chill, if you are not up for it now, go do something else, come back later when people learn the content better. I know many people who pre purchased HoT but haven’t even started HoT maps yet, they are doing Halloween and Fractals.

so basacly your advice is go away and wait for a few weeks so that everyone can figure out what they need to do, and for anet to filter out the bugs.
maybe until december? when fallout4 comes out and i will most likely be playing that instead.

My real advice is to follow the schedule of Gw2community and do the map with them. They always get the stuff done, so whenever I need something organized I check their calendar and see when they do it.

Our advice is to pull back a bit from the keys. You’ll get your terrible looking chest piece soon enough.

It sounds to me like there’s a thing you want, and you know how to get it, and you know how to get with all the other people going after the exact same thing.

And those things put together kind of have a way of ensuring that people are around trying to get t4 maps coordinated.

It’s almost like someone planned for it all to work this way!

These drop from the completion of the Dragon’s Stand meta event as well. I have done the meta 3 times and gotten a chest every time. I am not sure if this is good luck or if its a 100% drop though. Just wanted to add another way to get it.

Do they? Maybe ill bring my ranger out there and knock out to things in one go. Get all my bladed chest pieces and my pets and then i can go back to verdant brinks to get airship parts for the rest of the two sets and everything else i need!

Just be aware that a successful run of Dragon’s Stand is 2-2.5 hours depending on the skill of the map. It will go down over time but right now its quite long but also incredible.

This is the 100% way to get the bladed top, now actually follow it carefully.

-Get an organized map for Tier 4 Night time

-Make sure when you have to defend the rally points that 0 fall & you take almost all of the rally points AND upgrade them.

-Escort the Pact Soldiers AND get them to the camps.

-Three to Four people at every rally ONLY, no more than that! Two defend, the others upgrade/escort

-Kill all nighttime canopy bosses BUT there still needs to be people escorting AND guarding camps.

-Constant communication in map chat, all mentors and commanders on deck.

This is the 100% way to get the bladed top IF you have T4 by the end.

been trying to organize successful runs of Verdant brink since launch and more players are interested in farming the hero points and leaving the map than staying and helping.

That’s because Verdant Brink is a terrible map compared to the other 3 that were released. So much of that map is locked behind a time gate that is not on a set timer from what I can tell (someone correct me if Verdant Brink is on a constant reset timer like Dragon’s Stand is) that people are rushing to get what they need for map completion/masteries instead of doing the event.

From what i can tell its on a set time. Night and day at least yeasterday was happening the same exact time on my map, and my parents map(they where in a different instance) But the day and night events take place at the same time. It just sucks that its one of two ways to get it, and both are locked behind ameta event that..ugh…
