Cant use visa so when can I purchase PoF in Canada?

When will PoF be in stores?

AFAIK there is no retail box for PoF. Therefore it will not be in stores…again to my knowledge.

Amazon.de will sell it at launch (the game is already there) and seems to be a physical edition. So, it will probably exist, at least in some countries. I think ANet is not going to talk about it at least until launch.

Its probably just a plastic box with code inside.

I’ve seen standard edition HoT in retail boxes in Australia (probably could still get one if I looked hard enough)… so I’d expect PoF to have a version too.

in the us if your buying from game stop or amazon all you will get is a code and no boxes any more at all .

as this pack will only be a download so any one looking for boxes . is out of luck unless anet which I doubt changes its mind on this .

also if you buy from game stop you will not get the pre purchase stuff that comes with it as anet seams the only one to be offering these if you buy from anets store . and these are the items will not get from the other places

The pre-purchase bonuses were only available from ArenaNet simply because they were the only ones actually selling it. Recently however, ArenaNet has started selling PoF through other retailers. DLGamer for example has the pre-purchase bonuses listed and although GameStop doesn’t directly say it, it must be since you get it now. Amazon should also, but they had the pre-order listed before they were allowed to sell it, so they’ve either been skipped or simply haven’t updated their page.

Though, Amazon isn’t selling a pre-order, so who knows? Path of Fire is available now on Amazon, so applying the code to one’s account now may unlock the pre-purchase bonuses.

and that was my point on that the things you will not get . but you can still get the game its self from these other places and some of the other stuff

np at all I am not sure about that myself . could guess but rather not do that like I said I am not buying this pack at all at this time. till after it comes out maybe . but still nice to see others get the best deals

Since HoT never got retail in Canada, (at least not around here anyway)

Get a paypal account, link it with your bank account. Buy PoF on the site or in game.

OP does not have a credit card. Although I guess Amazon you can link your debit card, or buy a gift card at a retail outlet.

Edit – Guess HoT did get retail, just not at launch… (Currently there are no listings for PoF at BB or EBgames)
