today i buy hot, hoping to receive , as written anywhere , a code of the gw2 vanilla game , to be able to give that code a few friends, so that they would try GW2 and then bought them too hot

(I thought the vanilla game , was also given for this , to be able to give that code to friends , and then enter in the world of Guild Wars 2 , where they bought them too hot ( with another code vanilla , to give to their friends, in loop)

but I was given a single hot code, then , where’s my gw2 vanilla code?

You get only one code that activates HoT on an existing account OR creates a new account with GW2 Basegame + HoT.

I dont think they come seperate.
You either buy GW2 and GW2 HoT with 1 char slot, or
you get GW2 HoT and add it to your existing account and get 2 char slots.
You can’t separate them as far as i know.

that’s the only code you’ll be getting.

You don’t get the base game as an exisiting player, which is what it says. When prepurchasing HoT, NEW players will get gw2 as a free bonus to make it easier for them to come into the game, vets dont, since they alrdy have the game. It’s a bonus for anyone new to the game, vets get a character slot.
