I was wishing for sword dagger, but with dagger skin that looks like a sword…..duel sword has the worst animation in this game, specially the running part…

Revenant isn’t getting a dagger.

:OO so sad, duel sword just looks so ugly unless you hold it like dagger in game..specially when running and the axe off hand looks pretty bad too..
i guess the only good part is i can stop trying to get that fotm dagger and just use my fotm sword alone..

and there’s no heavy who can wear dagger..such a shame..

To be fair, not everything datamined comes true. And with the shield, it could be either a BLC set or direct skin on the gemstore, related to something.

You mean just like all those Elementalist Sword Skills for their Elite Specialization that now seems to point more towards Warhorn?

Or the whole Season 1 finale, that was also datamined but then released completely different from that.

Lol obviosly. Im just sayin.. we got shield skills here, a glint styled shield and the elite spec is obviosly glint (as seen in the trailer and datamined skill icons). To me its more likely that the rev wont be getting the dagger.

So which does Revenant get? If dagger isn’t correct then shield may not be correct either. We don’t/won’t know till Anet get around to finally announcing all the rest of the elite specs.

yea its all just speculation from my side and some “evidence”. I just put the stuff together in my head and to me its more likely rev is gonna get the shield rather then a dagger.. thats all. Well.. till a-net says whats up we all dunno anyways.

Shiro is famous for his dual katanas, s/s makes the most sense.

But Mesmer is getting shield, and everyone seems to be convinced that they are going to give each class a unique weapon.

If that’s the case, wouldn’t the shield skills just come from a time when maybe they was brainstorming general weapons but decided on giving mesmer the shield instead or something? I don’t know how putting data into a client works but maybe the shield skills are just lumped into one piece of data or something with the rest?

What I mean is maybe they just didn’t remove the specific shield skills for what ever reason.

Bur the Glint esque shield…no idea. Could just be coincidence that it was put into the game at the same time as the supposed elite weapons.

But I personally don’t mind if it’s dagger or shield tbh, I like both.

20 gold says neither Revenant nor Warrior get dagger with this upcoming set of Elite specializations. Let’s not be silly, you all know I’m right. However I’ll gladly take anyone’s gold that thinks I’m wrong.

On other hand, I wish Spears would be usable on land, not just underwater.
