ive been playing HoT for awhile and i have felt some bosses arent being touched enough such as the wyverns (patri and matri) i feel like they are overly easy to kill (and solo) and they need to be more challenging such as bosses like vinetooth prime in some sort of way.
i rly do enjoy these battles but they dont have the sense of epicness as they are suppose to be. for example bosses such as patri can be easily killed if u just stand of the back side of him for the entire battle. and bosses like matri are easily killable for the small amout of health points they have.
my suggestions to these lack of difficulties are simple :
-adding a cc bar to patri when he starts flying in the air (every 25 %) that is strong as
the vinetooth prime’s cc bar. if u break the bar the wyvern falls and the players can
deal increased dmg to him for a couple of secs as well as to make the boss skip the fire
shield phase.
-i recommend as well to disable the fire shield phase to make players actualy stay on
the platform because most times players just jump of the platform after the dragon
starts flying in the air making his walls of fire pretty useless. i feel like this doesn’t rly
have to be changed but yet will improve the boss encounter a bit.
-adding some sort of attack such as the legendary mordrem wyverns in dragonstand
have that causes wyvern to fly up in the air (has a cc bar to stop that attack)and by
that causing aoe damage at random areas as well as underhim making players that
dmg his back have more difficulty during the boss battle
-adding the wyvern tail knockback have a knockback to players on his back as well.
-adding more hp to matri making boss battles with him a bit longer
-fixing scale bugs such as the DS Legendary wyvern wing knockback that pushes player
that are behind the boss that might be supposed to be scaled for the VB legendary
boss battles that are bigger than the DS legendary wyverns by that making the bosses
unrealistic to the actual animation.

Wyvern bosses are the first bosses a new player meets in HoT. Matriarch requeres no masteries to kill, Patriarch requeres only updrafts. They were never ment to be hard, they were ment to be the first and easiest bosses of expantion.
If you want a challange, go for other VB bosses. Or other heart of Maguuma location bosses. Difficalty level is fine now, the challange increases gradually when you venture deeper into jungle. Vinetooth should be harder than wyverns as it is encountered by players much later in the game.

ider with all due respect most players who first start playing HoT maps dont actually stay for the bosses but play the story , the bosses, the metas and etc are most time played by high mastery level players . i personally feel that HoT maps are suppose to be hard. and i feel that most bosses in HoT are hard enough, but i feel like wyverns personally are extremely easy for example it takes about 10 mins to solo a legendary wyvern in DS and i rly feel its a bit sad.

ib4 someone mentions how 30% of the ppl that are on the patri matri kills die to fire breaths and get knocked off the edges from the aoe knockbaks xD

I actually find patriarch to fail more often than other bosses in HoT when I do it, because people don’t know what to do (or some people that managed to get up there without updrafts, so contribute to scaling but can’t help break his shield).

I think that if he is changed, only change should be to add a few eggs on the platform itself (not many, just a few) that can be thrown at him without flying. It allows people who don’t have updrafts to help break his shield, and could easily be tied in in such a way to encourage people to stay on the platform when he goes up in the air.
