2nd Pale Tree - Location?
Malyck says to the west along the river. If you ignore the map boundary mechanics that force both ends of the river to flow towards the center, the map would go towards The Falls or Tangle Root (or the area inbetween).
Ventari’s Refuge wasn’t anywhere close to a river.
This, incidentally, is around the supposed location of Mordremoth’s awakening (Magus Falls – pass Thaumanova, across a short arid wasteland, and then into a highly vegetated place).

I should try to explain why I think this way. Ventari was non-violent and allowed travelers refuge in his outpost. It was where his influence was the strongest. Also, if you look where Ventari’s was located, it was deep in the Maguuma Jungle and most mysterious and interesting place. I think after Ventari left his Refuge and went to where the current Pale Tree is located in GW2 – (that was Arbor Bay from EotN).
Still, the tree that was there is a stonewood, which don’t have leaves and looks nothing like the Pale Tree.
And as said, Malyck said his tree is west along a river. And there is no river near Ventai’s Refuge. Doesn’t matter that Ventari lived there. He didn’t have access to the seeds. Ronan did.

There is an especially large tree at the Henge of Denravi skill point, which is also a place of power, and us guarded by some sort of treant. It is surrounded by druid husks. But there is no evidence of any seed pods. The area is also crawling with inquest. Who knows what they would do with a seed pod.
There is another sentient tree (the Terebenth), in the Brisbain wildlands. The Terebenth doesnt have pods either.
There may be many conscious trees in the Jungle. Who knows how many have produced Sylvari?
