An unmasked Largos
There’s honestly a good chance that they will look similar. Remember that the ideas of the asura gates and the name of the asura both are credited to the Stargate Franchise, and the members of ArenaNet that enjoy watching the show (something we both agree is great!). Though the Largos are nothing like the Wraith culturally at all when it comes down to it, but if we are just talking about looks, yeah you are probably right.
^agreed. Especially when you think they’ve done the same with the Kodan, they’re inspired from the Golden Compass series.
Hmm, ‘asura’ was chosen because of its use in Stargate eh? That does make more sense than the Hindu alternative (or the Buddhist or Zoroastrian connections).
You can actually see beneath female largos’ masks if you angle your camera just right.
They lack eyebrows and nose(I think on the nose…), but are otherwise smooth skinned.
Of course, this is under the assumption they didn’t half kitten the face since it can’t normally be seen (but why bother with one at all when the male lacks such?).
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

Yes, Asura is the name of the human form replicators created by the Atlantians in order to fight the Wraith.
@Narcemus.1348, Stargate is amazing, although I’m not sure if the Asura gates are inspired by it or not but they certainly do share similarities, would of been great if they just of added one gate in each area and had a Dial-Home-Device to travel area to area. That is probably why I dislike the Asura since the Replicators had that name. However If they do make Largos playable I’m definitely naming mine Todd.
^ Hah, Todd… That was my favorite character in Atlantis, partly because I like the actor and his role in Star Trek. The Largos seem to also share the same accent as Quarions from Mass Effect, albeit, I don’t know if that’s another reference or just a coincidence.
Main: Endeavorr
I hope that, sometime in the future, possibly in the deep sea dragon expansion, that the Largos will become a playable race. Then we’ll know for sure.

Todd was played by christopher heyerdahl your thinking Connor Trinneer who was Michael the wraith turned human from enterprise.
Largos being the Wraith? I’m….I’m down with that, yeah. Though, slightly off-topic, SG1 still the best.
Maybe the Skritt are like organic replicators?
When I saw this freelance work by thesame artist who drew the artwork for GW2 I immediately thought “This could very well be how an unmasked largo would look like”
