For those who played gw1, and remember glint’s challenge where we have to protect the baby dragon from destroyers. Does anyone know why those destroyers attacked the baby in the first place? Was it just a random made up event by the devs, or is there actual lore behind primordus minions attacking a baby dragon all the way somewhere in the crystal desert?

90% sure it was for the sake of having a challenge mission to do, but I’m sure some kind of canonical reason can be injected when/if it’s needed by the writers.
