Can revenant invoke other legends?

There is zero reason to think that Revenants can’t use other legendary figures.
For example, ingame I suggested to a player talking about their Norn Revenant being like a “shaman” and using animal spirits to instead be a Revenant who focuses and primarily uses NORN legendary heros, Like Jora.
I even think revenants can invoke anything from the mists, not only legends.
If a revenant want to invoke Hugo the Hairdresser from the mists, they can.
But legends just sounds so much more promising.

I’m not sure if that’s true. It might be easier to invoke people/creatures who have made a bigger impact on the universe than to invoke those with barely any influence. People with a big impact have a strong echo/presence in the mists.
Theoretically yes. They can contact and channel anyone form the mists.
Mechanically, they is probably going to be used for expansions and what not.
There is no confirmation for what some of you guys are claiming. The revenant channels powerful legends from the Mists, not just anything – that is what we know. I tend to agree with Diovid in that the profession is restricted to legends, because they leave an impact of power large enough to be noticed and harnessed.
That aside, of course it is plausible that there are more legendary heroes/villains to call upon other than those we currently see ingame. But I wouldn’t advise to roleplay other legends, because there might come a day when those or similar legends are actually implemented into gameplay and it turns out you were RP’ing it the wrong way.
There is very little lore for the Revenant as it is.
Also, I think Rytlock channels Glint differently then the players do? I may be wrong on that.
I didn’t watch Rytlock channeling that accurately, so I can’t tell. And yes, Revenant lore is weak at the moment, but the skills at least give an impression of what you can do by channeling which legend.
There is gameplay-lore seperation in several cases. just because I can only summon one flesh golem ingame doesn’t mean I can’t summon several at once in lore.
I’m not talking about taking gameplay mechanics as lore. I’m a huge enemy of that. But the skills give us a theme, a direction. Let’s say someone RP’s with channeling Jora as a Revenant legend and later on Jora is actually released as a legend but doesn’t provide magic that is anywhere near that guy’s roleplay. That would suck for said person and mean they RP’d outside of lore up to that point.

Let’s just say you can’t run around telling people Revenants can channel anything like it is a fact when there is absolutely no indication of that in lore. With your flesh golem example we atleast have Trahearne summoning 4 iirc, in the Forging the Pact mission. But for Revenant we have nothing that shows they can channel anyone who wasn’t very powerful in life, unless we would count the Ritualist as a kind off predecessor. But I don’t think that would be a valid connection, when talking about the Revenant.
