Guild Wars 2

When I left the game 2 years ago the last thing I knew was destiny’s edge defeating zhaitan, now there are a few new maps (silverwastes and stuff) and i’m still finishing up the living world season 2 series (i’m poor) so i couldn’t gather a lot of backround info about it yet.

The most interesting event seems to revolve around Scarlet, I’m so upset that I missed the attack on lion’s arch, and events leading up to it, oh well.

Flame legion’s still the same, separatists, intact, oh wow Eir has a son, did Rytlock come out to Logan yet?

I’m still working my way through LW2, but I can give you a quick and dirty summary of LW1:

we beat zhaitan and suddenly got attacked by giant enemy crabs, so we spend a weekend killing them and then go back to being bored for about half a year, occasionally celebrating an event.

until the fire nation molten alliance attacked, we meet a gladium called Rox and Eir’s son, GBraham and we beat up the dredge and flame legion.

then we fight sky pirates, which is fun.... (ok fine, I admit it, I was away for this part)

we return CITIZENS! to CITIZENS! south-CITIZENS! ... excuse me for a moment. *muffled gunshots*.

sorry. We return to southsun and beat up more giant enemy crabs and capture canach, the sylvari who was making the crabs go insane.

and then finally we celebrate GW2’sanniversary the queen’s jubilee.

but all is not well, as we get busy distracting ourselves from our crippling lack of purpose when there are no dragons to fight, a crazy salad called Scarlet appears, turns the queen’s robot army (oh yeah, she has a robot army) against us, reveales that the aetherblade pirates and molten alliance were answering to her and we celebrate that we actually have an antagonist again

so we beat up scarlet and she runs off like all good saturday morning supervillains do, and creates a third alliance between the krait and nightmare court involving a tower that makes people, like, SUPER high... and dead.

we meet a naked chick from southsun (Kasmeer) and her lover who happens to be a detective (Margery Delequa) and bring down the tower.

then Scarlet pops back up, blows up LA, sticks a giant drill in it and starts a war, also we meet Taimi, a supergenius asura who needs a golem to act as a wheelchair,and is also a HUGE scarlet fangirl.

well now we’re MAD, we kill scarlet for destroying the place where we AFK and fix... absolutely nothing, see that drill redirected a ley line straight into the mouth of a sleeping elder dragon, Mordremoth, who wakes up and kicks off season 2 of the story (because FINALLY ANOTHER DRAGON!).

oh and super adventure box happened,which was AWESOME. and has not appeared since, presumably because ANet hates us having fun

as for Rytlock, he’s been in the mists learning to be a Revanant and presumably making out with as many logans as the multiverse throws at him.
