Greetings,

This is purely in reference to the LORE, not a discussion, request or suggestion for game mechanics. Do not derail this in any such direction.

Now that that’s over with…my query is simple & hopefully ANet will poke their heads in.

Question: While a mortal individual may only have access to one of the Bloodstones, can a mortal individual effectively change their profession?

Example: Can a Guardian of thirty years, begin learning the arts of the Necromancer & ultimately become one?

Any & all thoughts are appreciated…but hopefully, an accurate answer will arise!

In GW1, there are NPCs who have their professions changed. Though only one who has his profession change in story is Kieran – who goes from being a ranger to being a paragon.
