Characters you would like to see in the LS
Keep your Quaggans out of my game please. They are filthy sea vermin that need to be exterminated asap.
Every time a Quaggan opens it’s mouth the collective intelligence of Tyria decreases tenfold.
Death to all Quaggans. This is all.
(But seriously, I do agree that it might be nice to see Dougal do something – I know that not everyone has read the novel, but I don’t feel like the story of Dougal (really who named him…) ends here.)

I used to share your feelings about Quaggans somewhat but having a swarm of them in the PS go all giant pahrana and swarm around me mauling Icebrood was kind of awesome. That and I find the irony that their naturally evolved defence mechanism is one of the main sources of their vunerability interesting.
I haven’t done that PS mission – so I’m still very much on the death to all Quaggans train.

I’m guessing you support the clubbing of baby Quaggans?
~Starts playing Sarah McLachian’s Angel~
As for my answer, the Firstborn that developed the meditation method used by the Soundless. It sounds like a story just waiting to happen.
Maybe it’s not the most popular idea, but I’d really like to see the Caithe-Faolain arc pushed to fruition. Caithe’s my favorite DE member, and it just felt wrong that she was the only one cheated out of closure in their storyline.
Also, Skrittsburgh! The place has held strong against a veritable sea of Inquest, Nightmare Court, bandit and destroyer predators, and has gone through more leaders in the last year and a half than even that many skritt can count. Let’s see some recognition for Tyria’s long-suffering first kingdom of skrittkind!

I’d like to see the Malyck plot picked up on. Given how significant it is I suspect it’s highly likely (it may even weave into the current story). I’d also love to see the tengu outside the wall get some more screen time. Maybe it’s not appropriate to do until ArenaNet is ready to release them as a race, but I really want more Tengu in my Tyria.
I comforts me that other share my dislike of quaggan. They are like the Jar Jar Binks of Tyria. I feel a strong urge to eat dolphin unsafe tuna every time the quaggan are featured.
I think in general I’d like the story better if it focused less on a central cast and more on different characters in Tyria. It reminds me of the Community episodes Competitive Ecology and Alternative History of the German Invasion. Those episodes make fun of the fact that the sit com revolves around a core cast of characters and everything and everyone else is secondary. I don’t want Tyria to be a sit com – it’s so much bigger and better than that. We don’t need the A or B teams to tell a good story in Tyria.
I always felt like the Nightmare Court plot didn’t have much of a resolution. Faolain is still out there, it didn’t feel like we stopped her and I agree Caithe isn’t done with her either. Most of the dungeons have plots that are yet to be picked up on again (Eir is still reforging that Fiery Dragon Sword for Logan – they are giving them away in EotN and Beigarth is done tutoring Tyria’s Next Top Psychopath, maybe he can get around to that sword?).
I always found the NPCs in the Undermarket to be really interesting. Lion’s Arch is a pirate city, I really hope we get to see the ugly side of piracy in the events after Scarlet’s attack.
All of the characters that are alive from the Ghosts of Ascalon book, first-born sylvari, the lesser legions, more crazy asuran experiments, norns going to the spirits for help in dealing with Jormag and possibly restoring some of the lost spirits and ressurecting the owl with the help of Grenth. Who is that blacksmith that is supose to restore a certain magical blade? and did she/he restore it? More charr getting their homelands back/going to the other high-legions citadels. Did those bandits get their alliance and finished those bridges and paths to new maps?
What’s in the floating castle? If we get the Dominion of Winds, can we get to go inside it? What is the Priory doing in order to restore ancient artefacts and do they get to move them to safety in time?
What happened with the treaty? Did Rytlock screw up by sending Rox to the Jubilee instead of himself?
Do we ever get to see that hot nameless litch ever again?
So many questions , but there are no answers. I hope that they answer at least some of them in season 2 of the living story. So many characters, so little development time.
I’d like to see livia. That’d mean that a real threat has come to the crown of DR.
Livia. Scepter of Orr.

I would also love to see Livia, but I really want to see Lazarus the Dire.
I wish GW2 posted more lore articles. With their current way of doing the living story, it seems almost impossible that we will see all of these characters in action again, but if they hired someone to expand the lore on them, it would be very interesting.
Samuel Stormwalker
I’d quite like to see a small team of skritt doing smash and grab raids with stolen dredge machinery. Smart enough to stay alive but stupid enough to take on trouble. The perfect people for Braham and Rox to go to when they need to break into Scarlet’s labs.
