Charr necromancer.
Magic users aren’t trusted as much as technology is, magic is still recognized as powerful and useful.
just don’t go around worshiping grenth or other powerful creature and you should be fine.
Yes and no.
I see your point, but remember that not all flame legion are magic users, just the shamans. Since magic doesn’t equal flame legion this shouldn’t come as an issue within your warband.
Agreed, magic is still used by the charr – they don’t seem like the types to turn down a perfectly good weapon at their disposal (much like the Romans who have partly inspired their lore). I just don’t think they want to be reliant on magic. The way I would play it would be that if anyone accused him/her of messing with Flame Legion magics, he/she would just have to do something creepy and awesome to make the point that it’s powerful, so aren’t you glad I’m on your side? That seems very charr!
As said above, don’t worship greater powers, and don’t go around saying your magic makes you better than anyone else, and you’d be fine. Having said that, my friend does have a charr necro who was runt of his litter and is a bit of a pariah for his creepiness, so that can work in a warband too.
As a side note, alot of Ash Legion NPCs are necromancers.
Magic is often tied to Flame Legion for alot of charr because the Flame Legion had the strongest magic users out of all the Legions. The other Legions however recognise and value magic even if they arent particularly comfortable with it. Of course opinions will very a great deal from charr to charr.
Then that just fits perfectly, I started my charr in the Ash Legion so he can feel comfortable inside it.
Thanks for the input guys, I guess I can run with it now
