First, I found it quite amusing when Charrnip was added as an ingredient for the legendry backpice collections. But it occurs to me that if we follow the logical line that Charrnip is catnip for charr, then calling it a snack’s not really accurate. Have you ever seen a cat dosed on catnip?
It’s quite funny really that a popular pet toy like catnip is actually a psychoactive drug for cats! Any time you give a pet cat catnip, you’re essentially giving it the feline equivalent to marijuana.
I’m now chuckling to myself at the mental image of stoned charr chewing on charrnip, playing with their tails, or chasing imaginary Skritt!

This is probably totally inappropriate to discuss on a forum intended for a game used by 12 year olds, but why not. This is too hilarious.

I can totally imagine this stuff being illegal in legion-based Charr society, if it truly is a real-life equivalent to catnip. I highly doubt the High Legions will want their troops hashed up while going on a conquest.

As a semi-related note, even some big cats respond to catnip.

Lol at people still thinking marijuana makes you halucinate and trip, just a perfect example how masses of uneducated people can be made to assume something just by seeing it portrayed a certain way on tv and movies repeatedly

Well, my cat definitely consumes catnip orally, so it is kind of like a snack.
Also, if it is a drug it should be noted that various military groups in history have encouraged or forced the use of psychoactive drugs in their soldiers as a way of controlling behavior. It may not be as illegal as some would initially believe. The desired effects may vary from getting troops to better cope with unbearable circumstances to taking away all sense of self preservation.
