This thread is about the possibility of collaborators in the GW2 universe. This group will be the most hated people, due to their betrayal of the fellow countrymen.

In history, whenever a country gets overrun, there were always collaborators that betrays his/her own nation and work with the enemy.

For example we know that Kraits enslave all other races they encountered. So is it possible that the Kraits will make use of collaborators to enslave their own race? These Charrs, humans, Norns, Asurans and Sylvaris will act as slave masters on behalf of the Krait. Furthermore these collaborators will form up fighting units to assist the Kraits. They will also help the Kraits in capturing more slaves.

Why would anyone do this? There can be many reasons. Their whole family maybe in captive by the Krait, for example. Other may see collaborating with the Krait as a way to gain personal power or even as a basis for a revolution. It is obvious that not everyone is in love with his original government.

If such units of collaborators exists they should follow the examples of Ustase.

This will further darken the theme of the Krait. Now they are truly an army of pure evil of murderers, slavers and traitors.

Other than Kraits, there can be collaborators of other enemies of the Pact.

Elder Dragon collaborators for example, are people who are not corrupted by the Elder Dragons but chooses to work with Elder Dragons.

Mursaat collaborators are humans who are not part of the White Mantles but choose to work with the Mursaats.

There can be many other examples.

This is alrdy in game. Sons of Svanir are an example: theyre siding with the dragon for personal gain. Ive heard rumors about bandits working together with ..centaurs as well.
