Just notice that Chanters using Ebonhawke scepters as weapons, are they connected?

As they mentioned before: the Fractals are a reflection made by the Mists; things can be distorted, inaccurate, or plain wrong. Think of it as an unreliable Matrix.

Not only that the Fractals can and, in fact, are distorted (our mere presence distorts it), but that fractal in particular shows the “beginnings of history” – likely human history on the world. In other words, it predates GW2 by over 2,000 years; meaning it predates Ebonhawke by over 1,800 years easily.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

Also, the Ebonhawke weapons are quite common on npcs, for example, human renegades use them, and IIRC Faolain uses the scepter as well.

Only fools and heroes charge in without a plan.

Separatists using Ebonhawke weapons make sense, though. What doesn’t, is Ebon Vanguard not using Ebonhawke weapons.

Maybe they ran out of time and slapped that skin on there.

What kind of damage do they hit you with? The prefix “ebon” was associated with earth-element damage back in the day (like Ebon and Ebon Hawk ), perhaps it’s an allusion to that. /shrugs
