Found this at a terminal, don’t know what it means, might be connected to scarlet

C13
X04
U102
FR10

I doubt, someone can decipher it, but maybe its possible. Good Luck

A little more context would be handy. Found it at a terminal where? What map? What area?

Yeah, context is needed. Where can this be found in-game for others to see in person? Whom is this terminal related to, if anyone? What does the terminal look like? Etc.

Unfinished JP in Caledon. If you do the Jumping Puzzle in the room with the aeterized underground pale tree and the panic gas, the consoles each give out a snippet of a code. Usually you don’t have the time to memorize them, but I took a video and then paused at the right spots and wrote them down. If you combine these snippets, you get:

C13 X04 U102 FR10

Considering that has been in game since launch and is not technically meant to be accessed and as such cannot be considered canon – I wouldn’t think much of it.

The codes were probably intended to be used to gain access to a different part of the puzzle or something – before it got scrapped.

There is a small pale tree down there with a thorn vine around it that has scarlet red leaves. Scarlets story has been in writing a long time. They can’t just change it because its been there a while now. The place includes: underground strucures, psychoactive substances, force fields and experiments with a small version of the pale tree thats getting powered by some device. Too many connections to scarlet in my opinion.

That may be so, but unless they actually fully put it in game then we can’t really use it.
It can only be accessed through exploiting skills and map collision points, so it’s not really intended for players to be using it as something concretely based in lore.

You’re right, It doesn’t feel right, to use it in an argument.. its doesn’t feel like the devs intended this to be in our official information pool at this moment. I wondered what the codes meant so I posted them without mentioning the JP. Put since it was recently mentioned in a post anyways I could as well just go all the way…

It’s important to note the context of this code. The whole purpose of the consoles, seems to be to extract some sort of a reading, and then pass it on to the next console. They are all placed in various spots around this giant plant. And no, it is not a small version of the Pale Tree Miroe, it’s just a giant plant.

When you start using the consoles, poison gas starts filling the room, and you need to move from console to console, gathering bits and pieces of the code. It is my hypothesis, that the goal of this puzzle was for the players to memorize the full code, so it could be entered somewhere else later. But since the JP is unfinished, the code does not have any use.

There is nothing that links this JP to Scarlet. It was there long before Scarlet was introduced. It actually seems attached to the Spekk’s Laboratory JP. If you pay attention near the end the end of that JP, you’ll notice a collapsed tunnel. This is where the rest of the JP could have have continued. But the designers probably ran out of time, and thus it was never fully realized.

Further on there are more rooms that were never finished. There’s a lava room, a room with various colored mushrooms, some tunnels across lava, a room with spiked vines and missing platforms, and it ends underwater where the rest of the JP is missing. The final room would probably have been the large Asura control chamber floating inside a forcefield bubble. This further more indicates that this was an Asura themed JP.

Well, looks like you are right there. There are just minor similarities to the sapling version of the pale tree and the grown up version – especially the few leaves at the top. and the connection to Spekks laboratory is strange indeed. I rather wondered about the sheer amount of possible connections to scarlett. Most of the stuff im writing is actually rather unfounded and rather an attempt to connect lose ends.

It honestly wouldn’t be surprising if it was tied to Scarlet.

We were told, sometime long ago, that the plans for the Living World (not story but the whole “frequent updates to progress the world”) was intended from a short time before launch (I’d guess a couple months maybe – 3 or 4 perhaps). If they were beginning their Scarlet ideas then, they could have tried to implement hints of her into the game… but ran out of time. IIRC, they even ran short on time with the Zhaitan fight thus resulting in the poor quality we got. (So much for “when it’s done” right?).

Shame it didn’t get into the game regardless. If they did have it in, then she would have felt less forced. And would have made her alliances more sensible – she’d be after the certain elements from the get go, perhaps. But as said, not in-game, not canon, may not be Scarlet.
