I didn’t remember any reference to the Mad King name being Oswald during GW1.

Is it a completly new reveal for this Halloween?

This is indeed new,there has been no past reference at Thorn’s name

And wasnt he quite the young psycopath. Now we know how two of his wives died. Im guessing the rest didnt fair much better.

I enjoyed the lore about the brothers, Os and Ewan. And how Ewan sounds like a nice young man who would have made a good and benevolent king… those boys never make it to the throne, haha.

I wonder if we will find out how the treaty talk with the centaurs played out in the second book. That could be interesting.

I’d also like to know why Thorn hates harpies, ettin, and tengu. And why he fears termites (assuming it’s not because he has a pumpkin for a head). Lots of potential lore to still learn on him.

Perhaps the angry mob that killed him was creative with termites before they chopped him into pieces?

Didn’t the ettins conspire against him at some point and he banished those to the Ring of Fire Islands?
