Do Sylvari cry tears?
Sap is more akin to blood, IMO. They probable cry some kind of juice, or even simple water.
that it makes every other class in the game boring to play.”

What Ardid said, I believe they just cry normal water, (not salty like ours).
But since they mimicked humans in pretty detail, it’s very probable they can
cry like we do. it could also be that they weep without tears, that’s still entirely
possible as tears are just 1 aspect of the concept of weeping.
Sap is sylvari equivalent to blood (outright canon here; similarly, vines make up the muscle, leaves/vines/bark make up the skin and hair, and wood make up the skeleton). Plants do have water in them, so it would make sense that their tears are also water.
The question is more whether they’re salty or not. I’d like to imagine they’re sweet instead, since water in plants do tend to take a sweeter taste to it.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

yea, I agree, either it’s rich in sucrose.. or just not rich in anything but water, but coming from a plant I can’t consider it being salty.. not when I think about real world plants
Does their nose run after they’ve been crying?
ANet may give it to you.
Does their nose run after they’ve been crying?
No, it stays firmly attached to their face.
On a more serious note, we know fairly little about the intimate details of sylvari biology. They’re pretty much all plant inside, yet are perfectly capable of digesting flesh. There are special menders to act as healers and they repair themselves slightly differently than the other races. Also, twins are possible, but exceedingly rare. Other than that, they’re pretty much a mystery, even to themselves.
Yes they do it serves them to heal their wounded leaves
