Every time I run google searches about this, all I get is the Sylvari Dream come up, so I was wondering if anyone here knew if the races of Tyria, particularly the 5 playable races can dream while sleeping.

They can. It’s not something you’ll see mentioned too much, but it was actually a minor plot point back in Nightfall.

Yes. It was a heavy point (hardly minor when the constant messages of the gods come via dreams and two main plot characters is centered around these) in Nightfall with Melonni and how Abaddon influenced the world through making nightmares reality.
