He flooded alot of Frostgorge Sound, though admittedly that could just have been a side effect of him awakening. However the model for Drakkar ( who if iirc was originally slated to be Jormag) clearly has flippers. The totems the Sons of Svanir make look rather serpentine as well, but I’m not sure how much of that is just artistic license on their part.

Trollberius- Charr Guardian

I agree that the Svanir totems are likely not accurate, but all the same, I’m really rather hoping that Jormag is amphibious. He has, after all, spent the last 160 in what is essentially a drawn out naval battle with the kodan. He’d have to either be amphibious or comfortable with never landing.

I say amphibious and not aquatic because the norn did (try to) fight him on land.

Well since the norn draw heavy norse influences maybe he’ll represent more of the Midgard Serpent/Jörmungandr look. Or maybe the Nidhogg/Níðhöggr. Maybe even Fáfnir can be used as inspiration.

Though I wouldn’t be saddened if he looked more like the very standard modern perception of dragons just all ice covered. Imagine the dragon from the Beowulf movie but all covered in ice.

Well it seems like most ED spent time underground or underwater, and I don’t particularly think they’re particularly bothered by this having-to-breath business, so I don’t see why you couldn’t survive both on land and in water.
