Does Rytlock have any family?
Mother and father: Of course, otherwise he wouldn’t be alive. Who they are? From the lore I read, no one knows. But then again, in charr society your “parents” don’t mean a lot to you. Charr are given to fahrars when they are young to train in a warband. They don’t have biological family ties.

Read the novels. Rytlock mentions his family in short passing, basically explaining that he doesn’t give a kitten about them.

As is Charr tradition.
Do you even lift, bro?
Families are recognized but adult charr have very little contact with their parents or offspring, but sometimes keep tabs on each other for events which could reflect back on the family’s reputation.
To my understanding not every charr is sent to the fahrars. As any other culture they need farmers, workers etc. aswell as soldiers. And there can be ties to family. I believe there is a charrcub in the Citadel that is actually asking why he cannot just be a farmer or something like his mother (he is to train with the fahrar though.
Anyways majority of charr are raised mostly in the fahrars and have little connection to their parents after that. So that Rytlocks parents are fairly unknown is pretty standard anyway.
Rytlock’s parents arent mentioned that Im aware off. His warband, which is the charr equivilant of a family unit, he does have though curiously he doesn’t seem to spend time with him. It never explains why and Rytlock avoids the issue but for some reason he doesn’t stay or work with them even prior to becoming a member of Destiny’s Edge.

Well… no. As far as I remember from interviews every cub is put into fahrar. Fahrar works as filter for the charr who doesn’t suit to soldier’s life, so the primus sends them to work on the field or a farm, or do some other logistic work. Also charr who are injuried or crippled can be put into some lesser work as farmers etc.
As for Rytlock… I think he actually has offspring. In “Ghosts of Ascalon” he tells Ember that she has her grandmother’s eyes. Yes, I know that it’s fairly innocent comment, but it bugged me that he had to know Almorra from the past, before she founded the Vigil. Probably they were very close friends or lovers, because in my opinion such sentence could speak only such person. I don’t know if it makes any sense xD
