Can I get some clarification onto the whereabouts, or no longer exist(abouts) of my favorite npc and throwback to the book?

I don’t know if it changed with today’s update (loading it up now), but he has always been located not-to-far from the dungeon vendors; always.

There’s only 2 guys now for the dungeon vendors which is why I’m afraid…

Maybe he’s going to go out adventuring with us in HoT.

Haven’t seen him yet. Hope they didn’t remove him… That would be a low blow since a lot of people wanted to see Dougal not only in-game but with a role of importance.

They are back in Fort Marriner. I think in the southern part if I remember correctly.

Anyway there are a couple of things missing in New Lion’s Arch it feels, the sewer system seems to be gone, atleast I couldn’t find any trace of it.

A few interesting things I did find though (if you want to explore yourself don’t read): A murder scene at the beach (near the arena-net symbol thing), Sya a female NPC that used to be a man, hero-tron giving out flyers and achievements and a doppelganger of Evon Gnashblade.

I hope he makes a return for HoT, he was always my favorite character from the book. That also gives me an idea, what if we take the gang from Ghosts of Ascalon and our Living Story group and have some missions where we team up? Get Destiny’s Edge in there too and you’ll have the Guild Wars 2 Avengers!

Which Is what I assumed. Tyria is big folks, just because they aren’t in LA doesn’t mean they are dead.

Dougal has been with the dungeon vendors since he was noticed in LA (in the BWEs). This is the first week ever that he isn’t.

He has been put on the bus, and that’s what people were worried about – not so much whether he lives or not.

I only hope that he’s been put on the bus because he’ll take a more important role in future updates. After all, he’s a famous former-Ebon Vanguard, former-Priory, currently-Vigil adventurer. He’s as widespread in contacts/experience as Scarlet Briar, but it works for him, unlike for Scarlet Briar.

I’d imagine he’s going to be adventuring with us in HoT and ANet either didn’t remember to put him in an interim position in LA or decided it wasn’t worth the effort.

Wiki claims he is located on Postern Ward, near all the guild stuffs. But that could be outdated and I have no access to the game to check atm

That is indeed outdated as that was his placement prior to Tuesday’s patch and not all articles have been updated yet. He was placed by the dungeon vendors then, which is now a barren area.

You know, Keane is a treasure hunter. Maybe he found a hidden temple in Maguuma somewhere?

In another thread, a dev said he is not dead or anything, “He’s… Um busy doing other things right now”
