Guild Wars 2

Please no spoilers but trying to decide on going Order of Whispers or Durmond Priory. IF the Durmond Priory provides me with more lore on the game, etc. I think I will go with them.

Anyone know if you learn more about the lore of Tyria through them or no?

I would go with order of whispers if i want the lore. They existed before both Durmand Priory and the Vigil. In fact it was the orders that gave the priory the vast amount of knowledge. You sir can now choose which ever one you want

Additionally, the only extra lore the Durmand Priory gives comes in the form of their library. This library is open to everyone who visits the Priory instance. So no, lore-wise, there is no benefit to being Priory.

I cannot comment on Whispers since I haven’t played them yet.
