E a necromancer or not, yo
It was mentioned in Marjory’s short story.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/marjorys-story-the-last-straw-part-2/
A deep voice whispered next to my ear, “Calm.” I sensed no necromantic power radiating from my captor. This was someone different. “The man you’re chasing is Kraig the Bleak. Magic for hire. You’ll probably never see him again.”
Hm, pretty specific. Well there goes that theory.
Who da heck is E< i feel like this is a thing where Anet is never gunna reveal who E is, and just use E as a tool to instruct players for the living world.

I guess his identity will just continue to be a Mr. E.
Who says that line doesn’t mean anything but “He didn’t use necromancer abilities to get close without making a sound”? <_<.
Well Marjory is a necromancer herself so you’d expect that she’d be able to sense a necromancer. But do not fear, maybe E was hiding his / her necromantic power.
They said his identity will be revealed at the end of S2.
Take it with a bit of salt, as this might be malleable since it was in an interview.

The answer to this whole thread is we don’t know who E is and we won’t know until it’s revealed. The identity of E is not supposed to be known and information about E is intentionally vague so that E could end up being literally almost anyone. It’s impossible to rule out anyone other than the PC, or make a strong case for any individual (because everything given is so vague and across the board almost any theory could be equally supported).

I have a theory that the PC is Mr. E
:)
My tipp is still Wade and it got some feed in the actual story without being mentioned. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Commander_Samuelsson
My guess is that Mr E. is a thief/elementalist who will join our adventuring guild.
I think E is going to be Evennia. At least that is my hope. IT was hinted that she was involved in something much bigger. And we know Livia lived to be several hundred years old, so it might have been possible for Evennia as well. I don’t have much belief that this is true, but I will continue to hope. I want to know what became of her.

Livia lived so long without aging though because of the scepter of Orr, to which there are rumors that she did this by sacrificing prisoners in the catacombs of divinities reach/lons arch (cant remember which)
how would evennia live for so long?
After having found a locket in Concordia that shows you who the true heir of Kryta is, events of the living story will unfold and Jennah will die. This will lead us into using said artifact to track down this heir who…wait for it…turns out to be Mr. E !! We also then find out that Livia had disappeared to find and guard him this whole time.
Doubt it. I can guarantee that the lockett was a trick clue.
My friend had a very god theory on this, do you remember when we voted for either Evon Gnashblade or Ellen Kiel, notice E or E. He suggested that Anet had the idea of E for a long time and whichever character lost/won would become E of the two

A: Anet said one ckittene magic to extend their lives.
B: There is evidence that she lived so long because of the scepter of Orr only.
C: RUMORs,. not facts.

Split personality, nice twist :P
E is Canach, who used his hidden identity to deal with the whole prison thing.
E is the Elder Dragons. They’ve secretly been sending us letters just to mess with us. It’s a form of psychological warfare.
E is Scarlet who already predicted the events that would unfold upon her death, and prepared these letters in advance.
She already knows the Hero’s mailing address anyway.

Well, the ruler of the Shining Blade is called the Exemplar if I’m not mistaken, so it’s not entirely far-fetched that it could be Anise/Livia.
The ONLY thing that makes me not believe it may be her is Marjory’s side story, where it was briefly described of E having a deep voice. Unless we assume that it was a deeper female voice. Could explain Marjory’s mocking remark that went something like “that’s not how you start a relationship” or some kitten.
So yeah, we won’t know if they don’t show us for sure.
I already have a feeling E is a Charr or Norn. Deep voice? Both of those species fit the bill in terms of deep voices.
PvE Main – Zar Poisonclaw – Daredevil
WvW Main – Ghost Mistcaller – Herald
I want to believe its Livia but I doubt that’ll happen.

Nice spot but in terms of the story, but Evon and Kiel can just get things done without sending secret messages to private investigators in the hope that something may happen. This is true of both the LA Murder and the Dry Top exploration. Evon can just hire some lackeys to look round Dry Top and report back any trade opportunities. Ellen can fly over with her airship and rescue the Zephyrites (shame our characters haven’t realized that yet!).
That does raise the question though, where is Ellen? Right now my guess is with Ellen but I’m not 100% loyal to that speculation. I only say her because she’s absent and she was the one with the greatest mode of transportation outside of Waypoints.
What happened to Vael? I dont think you could discount him being ‘E’ given that his name isnt actually Vael. Assuming he’s somehow still alive, but he was a weird fella so anything’s possible!
If you do think also that they didn’t know where they we’re going with the story so if you just think early season 1 the whole ‘E’ mystery does seem to match that voting:D
It’s obvious E is Trahearne. Moving on.
E is a super class. He can wield any weapon, equip all armor weights (Mix N’ Match), use all utilities, and has all the trait lines.

Or E could have been batman-ing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2yv8aT0UFc

Kiel is probably still in LA. She isn’t one of the biconics (and as such isn’t the roaming around sort) so her involvement in S1 was mostly as a result of so much of S1 involving LA. Dry Top has little connection to LA (although you’d expect the lionguard to atleast show up and give a helping hand to the survivors).

Kiel is IN LA. She’s kinda part of the ruling council of the city, she has a job there. She can’t run off into the counrtyside.
As for them showing up, sure after they LEARN about the crash. Though there is the fact it’s pretty far out of the way from any of their actual holdings/patrol paths. Seraph is already on the scene, most they could do is send a caravan over to help out.
E is not a necromancer.
He is the greatest ranger of all time, which is why nobody’s heard of him.
Did you know that when you mirror image the letter “E” it becomes like this: ?. And if you base it on numbers, it looks like 3.
And if you notice the Valve logo, you notice that the “E” there is smaller than the rest despite it being a capital letter. In other words: E is actually Episode 3!!!!!
THE END TIMES HAVE COME!!!!!!
Well, if one were to look for E. then first you would have to acknowledge:
A. E has the power of foresight, and manages to point us towards events as they unfold
B. E is part of a Tyrian wide organisation with operatives and spies located in all locations of major, minor and non-importance, and have ways to pass information a long in a timely manner.
Seeing there is actually an organisation like B. and A. would only be anyone that has had access to Omadd’s machine and would have been able to withstand corruption and ways to steer his/her vision to the events of ‘today’, instead of more general visions in a metaphysical representation of them. I were to argue that B. is way more likely…
Seeing that E. has been introduced as part of anything to do with Scarlet, it would make sense for E. to be somebody that could be close to the events as they unfolded, while at the same time be close to Scarlet in a sense that E. would have had to have anything to do related to her… So I cue: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ebbik
Ebbik, as a whisper agent in the Inquest, tied to a facility bound to ‘way point research’ (sound familiar?). Would be an agent that would be able to have come close to any info coming in from the Inquest as it relates to the work done by Scarlet. As well as have info on Scarlet, from the Order, as it would aid him in furthering investigation.
25 okt 2014 – PinkDay in LA
I will never unsee Mr. E from Scooby Doo from this miniplot.
Obviously, Mr. E is Caudecus pulling an extended mindkitten on the players and Marjory and using them as catpaws to deal with problems aboard.
To be fair though, I’m only 90% joking on that.
