East of the Blazeridge
Blood Legion territory
East, across the Blazeridge Mountains, Imperator Bangar Ruinbringer controls the lands of the Blood Legion.

God dangit. How did I miss that post? Still, geographically speaking…
Considering Elona’s arid, and Kryta/Maguuma (non-Wastes)/Ascalon are not, I’d presume east of the Blazeridge is too north to be that arid.

East of the Blazeridge Mountains could be something of a rain shadow, creating a dry desert-like area. I think that’s probably the cause of a lot of the desert in the United States, right, rain shadow from mountain ranges?
I can definitely see the Blood Legion occupying the Tyrian badlands, haha. Since charr are essentially carnivorous, they wouldn’t need much arable land for crops, just enough to feed herds – which can, potentially, be herded around so that they eat a little in each area rather than killing everything in one place. Blood Legion pastoralists?
I forget, but aren’t the Ash legion also east of the Blazeridge? Just straight east rather than northeast?
We don’t know where the Ash Legion lands are. We’re told that north is the Blood Legion Homelands, while east of the Blazeridge is where the Blood Legion’s citadel (thus capital) is, signifying they hold reign over there too.

Isn’t east of Fields of Ruin and Blazeridge Steps all ogre lands?
No, that’s Iron Legion land. The ogres are invaders. The ogres hail from the Blazeridge Mountains and are moving westward for more land.

Will that area be visited as new lv 80 maps?
I think it is…. almost… safe to say that at some point in the future we will see those areas too. Game just gotta live long enough or something. :P
