Not sure if this was touched upon already, but Eir’s music in her instance is the music that plays when you die… just wondering if it’s always been that way or if it’s cause…. ya know. Don’t wanna spoil anything, but sorry if this was already touched upon!

Guess now it’s appropriate though.

I don’t know if it’s intentional, but one of the themes of Eir’s home in the novel is that she’s a stone cutter who makes statue in the image of norn who go out to forge their legend. Eir finds it a bit mordbid because many of the norn who she cuts statues of end up being killed by Jormag and actually return to raid Hoelbrak as dragon minions.

In this way, the statues she cuts are tomb stones, reminders of the norn whose lives were taken by the dragon. I think Snaff’s statue is there now.
