Before Shiro is killed for the third time the Canthan Gaurd says that killing him will send his soul to the Mists to be judged.

Is it possible he might be sentenced to the Realm of Torment a second time?

During the quest where you first meet Razakel he states in the form of Terick:

“I’d like to thank you for bringing me this far. I admit I was skeptical you would be so willingly led to your own deaths, but your generosity is your downfall. Your presence here is an affront to my lord, Abaddon! Just as simply as I used that foolish Vizier to wipe Orr from this world, I will use this vessel to eliminate you!”

The use of this vessel is quite telling isn’kitten It implies that he has other vessels and judging from the context of his speech the Lich is also a vessel.

Guess the Lich was a traditional Lich with a Soul Jar after all(with said Soul Jar being Razakel’s true body)!

What’s the likelyhood that Razakel and other Torment Creatures(not including Abaddon’s avatar AKA the Fortune Teller since she needs his mind to exist due to being his avatar and all) will be sentenced to the Realm of Torment again alongside Shiro?

For Shiro, we fight and potentially destroy his soul. We don’t know the fate of souls that are slain in the Mists (which is where the Realm of Torment is). That Canthan guard wouldn’t know either.

Razakel likely was referring to his form as Terrick with “this vessel”. Nothing says demons have souls either, and Razakel’s true form we slay. And I don’t take his words to indicate Khilbron has a phylactery at all either (despite the existence of the Ascended item which has no known baring in actual lore given that we didn’t destroy it to kill Khilbron).

BTW, the Fortune Teller wasn’t an avatar of Abaddon and avatars don’t need their gods to exist – the Seven Reapers are the souls of seven mortals who fought alongside Grenth to take down Dhuum, for example, and were merely granted “immortality” as their reward.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

Although, to be fair, that’s only one example, for a god that’s already irregular in his power, and there’s really nothing else the Seer of Truth could be but a traditional avatar. Unless Kormir rewrote the appearance of one of the souls in the realm to match her own? In balance, that seems the less likely answer.

R.I.P., Old Man of Auld Red Wharf. Gone but never forgotten.

Kormir’s avatars may be more unique than the rest, given that Balthazar’s avatars look like standard eternals an Melandru’s look like druids in the same manner as Grenth’s avatars look like ghosts (albeit non-standard ones), but Kormir’s Avatar of Kormir speaks as if she’s Kormir and not a mere avatar. Kormir’s two avatars don’t look spectral at all unlike the other five gods’ avatars.
