Female Charr sexual dimorphism
I hadnt noticed, but yea. I guess sexual dimorphism makes sense. Bit then again
it’s a game, I wouldnt lose too much sleep over this
There is definitely sexual dimorphism between charr males and females – it’s just not as pronounced as in the other species. The big tell is indeed the tail. Charr females have fluffier tails that have long fur all the way down tail, for instance, while males only have fluffy tail tips.
I didn’t know about the whiteness on the female charr tails, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this was another feature added so players could tell an armored charr female from a male by the tail. Sexual dimorphism in fur patterning isn’t really uncommon.
(Looking through pictures, I think it’s possible all male charr have a dark colored tip of their tails, as well.)
